'Together We Keep Singapore Strong’

Beyond their CCE and Social Studies lessons on Total Defence Day, students participated in interactive booth activities that deepened their understanding of how they can contribute to Total Defence.

The crew from the Navy’s RSS Persistence engaged students through hands-on booths and shared insights on naval defence and how they safeguard Singapore’s waters.

The school also conducted Exercise SG Ready, where students and staff experienced a simulated power outage, providing a valuable opportunity to practise resilience and adaptability during a crisis.

“I found the recess booth activities very interesting and engaging. I especially enjoyed the Navy booths, particularly the dress-up photo booth where I had the opportunity to try on the Navy uniform. The simulated power outage was also a meaningful experience, as it taught me what to do in the event of such an emergency.”
