"Thinking Beyond, Creating Differently"
This year, No School Bag Day (NSBD) 2026 centred around the theme, “Thinking Beyond, Creating Differently”. On 19 May, students experienced learning beyond textbooks through specially curated activities designed to nurture 21st-century competencies such as critical and inventive thinking. Through activities like Thinking Hats and STEM challenges, students explored different perspectives, solved problems creatively, and worked collaboratively.
The school also had the pleasure of welcoming the Minister for Education and the Mayor of the Central Singapore District, who graced the event and participated in activities alongside the students.
“My favourite part of No School Bag Day was ‘The Great Thinking Hat Parade’ activity during recess! I liked wearing my hat and looking at all the colourful and creative hats my friends made!”
