We celebrated Total Defence Day with cool interactive booths, a Navy crew from RSS Persistence, and a fun simulated power outage drill!

Anchors aweigh with the Republic of Singapore Navy! ⚓🚢 Our students had an unforgettable time interacting with the crew from the RSS Persistence during Total Defence Day. Through these hands-on booths, our young learners gained fascinating insights into naval defence and discovered how our sailors work tirelessly to safeguard Singapore's waters! 🌊💪

Beyond their CCE and Social Studies lessons on Total Defence Day, students participated in interactive booth activities that deepened their understanding of how they can contribute to Total Defence.

The crew from the Navy’s RSS Persistence engaged students through hands-on booths and shared insights on naval defence and how they safeguard Singapore’s waters.

The school also conducted Exercise SG Ready, where students and staff experienced a simulated power outage, providing a valuable opportunity to practise resilience and adaptability during a crisis.

I found the recess booth activities very interesting and engaging. I especially enjoyed the Navy booths, particularly the dress-up photo booth where I had the opportunity to try on the Navy uniform. The simulated power outage was also a meaningful experience, as it taught me what to do in the event of such an emergency.
