Music Appreciation Programme

23 February 2026

Our first 2026 assembly rocked with live pipa, rebana, and tabla beats! We loved exploring multicultural music and clapped along to the epic sounds!

Vendors on stage
A musical journey across borders! 🌍🎶 Performers took the stage at our first assembly of 2026 to show students how music connects cultures. Playing traditional instruments like the oud, violin, and rebana, they brought the unique sounds of Singapore’s Chinese, Malay, and Indian communities to life right before our eyes! 🎻✨
I get to listen to another different genre of music. It was fun to know how traditional musical instruments can blend in with the culture and musical styles from the olden days.

I liked how some new instruments were introduced to us and understand the functionality of them all. My favourite is the rebana!
